Sochi Olympic University Plaza, Sochi

This project is a significant 129,000m² mixed use scheme alongside the promenade in Sochi, fronting the Black Sea.

It includes a new Olympic University faculty for Sports Business Management, a separate conference hall seating 750 people, two hotels for a major operator, a 4 star with 200 rooms and a 5 star with 150 rooms, a 250 room student accommodation building, a 250 room apart-hotel and retail and leisure facilities.

The scheme requires a major re-working of this sloping site to create the facility along with its supporting underground car parking and servicing. The design envisages the creation of major new areas of public realm allowing access to most parts of the site.

PRP are undertaking the BREEAM assessment and associated energy modelling of the building on behalf of the developers.
