This competition winning scheme is for the creation of a new community just to the north of St Petersburg on a 500ha site and will provide homes for up to 70,000 people within 10 years along with retail and leisure facilities, schools, kindergarten, zoo and parks.

The design strategy behind the scheme is to create a highly sustainable community in this wooded landscape using the existing canals as water features and including a public transport tram system to link into the existing local public transport network and the City Centre itself.
