The design and delivery of affordable housing has been a key aspect of PRP’s work since the foundation of the practice in the early 60’s. With local authorities resuming their importance in affordable housing delivery and housing associations taking a lead on urban regeneration initiatives, it sits at the heart of some of PRP’s biggest projects.

Today, we are working with several councils on complex multi-phased regeneration schemes across the country.

Our outstanding track record has enabled us to create close ties with all of the medium and large UK housing associations nationwide. We assist the principals of these Registered Social landlords (RSLs) in their procurement agenda, not only by designing and project managing their schemes but also by offering guidance on matters such as designing at higher density, achieving planning consent and community consultation. Clients have the added benefit of engaging PRP Environmental for guidance on achieving the Governments targets on environmental sustainability and carbon reduction.

The successful delivery of affordable housing places people at the midst of the regeneration agenda. We are expert at involving residents in the design debate and ensuring that their views carry real influence in the design development of their future homes.
