Part of a Millennium Community, Bywater Court has achieved the Building for Life silver accreditation.

The prototype townhouse for English Partnerships’ was exhibited at Offsite 2006. It was designed as a three-storey, end-of-terrace home; known to be the most challenging to house builders in urban design terms.

This EP prototype model provided the footprint for 23 new homes in the Allerton Bywater Millennium Community in Leeds. These houses are constructed using an off-site manufacturing process to both control costs and to raise quality.

The development has a clear outer perimeter of front facades and entrances creating a strong street edge to the new Boulevard. The buildings are grouped around a courtyard that will become a designated ‘Homezone’.
