The Carbon Challenge is run by English Partnerships (EP) on behalf of Communities and Local Government to accelerate the house-building industry’s response to climate change by fast-tracking the creation of several zero carbon housing developments. It will deliver a number of homes in different locations that meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 6 in a high quality, sustainable setting.
PRP was selected for the second stage of the EP Carbon Challenge bid submission for the Hanham Hall site in Bristol. The scheme consisted of 150 dwellings designed to Code Level 6 and meeting all of the Lifetime Homes requirements. The scheme includes the regeneration of the existing Grade II listed Hanham Hall to provide 25 apartments achieving an Ecohomes Excellent rating.
