PRP was appointed by English Partnerships to lead an extensive consultation exercise with stakeholders, residential community groups, government and local planning authorities.
We organised and facilitated a 'Collaborative Design Workshop' attended by around 60 stakeholders. This two day event incorporated presentations, a site visit and a series of design workshops covering environmental and development opportunities and constraints on the site. A series of 'Exhibition Surgeries' were held at local venues on the evening of the first day enabling a wider audience to contribute to the outcome of the design workshop.
The Design Workshop was successful in achieving consensus around the extent of development on the ex-RAF base, brownfield site, within a sensitive green belt area of north east Derbyshire and establishing an agreed Brief for the next stage of work.
