PRP Architects were commissioned by the RNIB to design a new £23 million Vision School, Administration building and Children's Home in Coventry.
The RNIB required a new campus to provide an exemplar facility for the blind and partially sighted children with additional severe physical and cognitive impairments. The new facilities provide a social environment that minimises the impact of the young people's disabilities and prioritises their needs in a holistic way.
PRP Interiors were appointed to specify all the internal finishes. Specifications were complex with many factors to consider, including colour contrasts, textures and zoning to help orientation.
