PRP was appointed by Poplar HARCA to undertake comprehensive regeneration of Brownfield, one of three sites which comprise the East India Regeneration Scheme. Brownfield, located in Poplar, East London.
The Borough of Tower Hamlets is in close proximity to major regeneration across the city, such as Stratford City and the 2012 Olympic Park Site. The development, built by internationally renowned architect Erno Goldfinger, includes Balfron Tower and Carradale House which are both Grade II Listed. Whilst the proposals for Brownfield include new development, the driving objective is the existing communities and the need to retain, support and strengthen the local communities.
PRP have been involved in submitting detailed planning applications for high quality renovation proposals for both listed buildings, renovation of the remaining low rise development, external refurbishment works and new housing.
