Haggerston & West Kingsland Estate, London Borough of Hackney
PRP Planning secured outline planning permission for the regeneration of the Haggerston West and Kingsland Estate to create a high quality, high density residential development.
As part of this process, PRP Planning led discussions with the local authority and the GLA. The development comprises the demolition of the 486 existing homes and redevelopment of 761 new homes, community centre and retail provision and will result in significant improvements to this area of Hackney. A key part of the regeneration programme is the development of 343 homes for private sale to cross subsidise the significant investment required to reprovide the existing affordable housing.
