About Urban Design

Safeguarding and improving quality of life, now and for the future, is our social aim through urban design and the shaping of places and spaces.

Successful places are those that are attractive and special. However, increasingly, success is also measured by mitigating the environmental impact. PRP's multi-disciplinary design approach ensures that all factors, social, economic and environmental, are properly considered in design strategies that promote sustainable, enduring and responsive design.

We establish close working partnerships and relationships with local authorities, developers, RSLs, local communities, stakeholders and builders to create communities which have a strong identity and sense of place. Safe and attractive environments are created by the fabric of buildings knitted together by the public realm in the form public parks, streets and spaces so as to reinforce the social fabric and create a sense of belonging for the individual within the wider community.
