Revitalisation of an iconic entertainment venue. PRP undertook the refurbishment and re-orientation of this Grade II listed iconic 1930’s, 12,000 seater entertainment venue, as part of the Wembley Masterplan.

Wembley Arena previously lacked suitable hospitality spaces. PRP’s design includes a new feature restaurant and bar overlooking the double height foyer.

As part of this refurbishment, a sensitive introduction of new services through the listed structure was required. The scheme remains sympathetic to the original Owen Williams concrete structure and provides an elegant and understated design solution in keeping with the existing context. The building was delivered on time and in budget through a well detailed, high quality design within an extremely tight programme
