    Anne-Marie is based in our Surrey office and is a leading specialist in the field of design for older people and those with special needs. As Partner, Anne-Marie oversees the team of designers working in the specialist housing and care sector.

    Her own expertise has been gathered over some thirteen years, during which time she has designed and researched environments that support and enable those with impairments to lead more independent lives. Anne-Marie has written a number of recognised design guides on designing for older people and regularly contributes at conferences on the subject.

  • Stephen Hynds

    Steve is a Director of the Specialist Housing and Healthcare group based in our Surrey office, where he specialises in housing for older people and other types of supported housing and community based healthcare.

    His vast experience encompasses a wide range of specialist housing and care projects for both public and private sector clients. These include residential care and nursing homes, extra care sheltered housing, continuing care and retirement villages, accommodation for people with learning difficulties, physical disability, sensory impairments and dementia.

  • Jenny Buterchi

    Jenny is a Director of the Specialist Housing Group. Since joining PRP in 1999 Jenny has contributed to a wide variety of projects especially in special needs housing and healthcare.

    Jenny has extensive knowledge in the area of housing for older people and has contributed to many projects which include extra care sheltered housing, care homes and design for dementia. Her experience within the healthcare sector has given her extended knowledge on designing to meet the needs of Older People.

  • Clare Cameron

    Clare is a Director within the Specialist Housing Group. Since joining PRP in 1996, Clare has made a significant input to a wide variety of projects especially in special needs housing, social housing schemes and education work.

    Clare has a particular knowledge in the area of housing for older people and has contributed to many projects which include extra care sheltered housing, care homes, continuing care villages and design for dementia, she has also contributed to writing design guidance in this field.

  • Mark Walker
    Associate Director


    Since joining PRP in 2005, Mark has been the lead designer on a range of high profile projects within the older persons housing sector. Most recently three of Mark's Extra Care projects Trees in Highgate, Kidbrooke in Greenwich and St Bedes in Bedford have won prestigious Housing Design Awards.

    Mark is a passionate champion of the HAPPI Principles and achieving high design standards.  His particular skills lay in working closely with clients and end users to produce bespoke, contextual and efficient design solutions.

    Mark was made an Associate Director of the practice in October 2011.

  • Graham Locke
    Director (Manchester)
    Point of Contact

    Graham is the Director responsible for our Manchester office. He continues to work directly with clients on a range of masterplanning, and large residential regeneration projects.

    Graham's vast experience was gained working on a wide range of building types ranging from children's centres and Sure Start projects, special needs housing, the refurbishment and upgrading of hospital accommodation to meet with today's requirements.

    Graham also has experience on a number of important historic buildings including Westminster Abbey, The British Museum and developing new and improved visitor facilities at both Housesteads Roman Fort on Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland and at Helmsley Castle in North Yorkshire.

  • Justin Bannister
    Associate Director


    Justin is an Associate Director in the Specialist Housing Group focusing on a wide variety of special needs housing schemes at both planning and working drawings stages.

    Justin has experience in all areas of running projects from initial feasibilities to detail design and contract administration and also of the varying procurement methods. Justin has a particular interest and experience of working with Listed Buildings and translating challenging designs into the detailed design and site stage.
