B Arch (Hons), DipArch RIBA

Prior to joining PRP in April 1998, Clive worked in the North of England for 10 years gaining experience on a number of large regeneration projects. These included the replanning and refurbishment of a 1960’s housing estate for Chester City Council and the redevelopment of an estate in Croxteth, Liverpool which involved the phased replacement of five tower blocks. Clive also spent time on the sensitive redesign of derelict listed buildings. These consisted of the conversion of a psychiatric hospital into modern apartments and a Victorian Community Centre in Derbyshire into a theatre and Visitors Centre.

At PRP, Clive specialises in working with local residents on the redesign of their communities. Many of these projects have involved a mixture of refurbishment and new build, with increases in density and mix tenure. Projects include the refurbishment of 1200 homes in Central Stockwell under ERCF funding, the redevelopment of Ramsden Estate, Kent and the regeneration of Leopold Estate, Tower Hamlets.

Clive has been instrumental in developing the company’s expertise in urban regeneration work and in particular, delivering successful stock transfers.

Trained at Sheffield University, Clive became an Associate Director in 2003.
