Peter Dodds joined PRP in January 2008 and brings with him considerable experience in the residential, retail and commercial sectors. He specialises in large-scale, complex regeneration projects which involve unlocking the development potential of constrained sites.
Peter also has considerable experience of working with listed buildings. This includes converting buildings for both residential and commercial use. He has a keen interest in the sustainability of all development and has completed a number of MSc modules at the Centre for Alternative Technology.
He joined PRP from John Thompson and Partners where he led the delivery of a residential and mixed use development at Royal Clarence Yard, Gosport - the site of a historic Royal Navy victualling yard. The development was awarded ‘Best Housing-led Regeneration Project’ at the 2004 Regeneration Awards.
Prior to that he was Project Leader on two linked retail developments in the heart of Staines which won Design Awards in 1999 and 2002. Their contribution to the town centre regeneration also helped to secure the BCSC ‘Town Centre Environment Award’ and the RTPI ‘Award for Planning Urban Areas and Communities’ in 2003.
Peter trained at the Gloucestershire College of Art and Design and Greenwich University.
