Robert Coles joined PRP in 1995 and became a Director in 2000.
In October 2000 Robert became responsible for the new Milton Keynes office, which represents PRP’s extension into the Midlands region. The office currently employs around 40 staff following rapid successful growth.
He has worked on a variety of masterplanning projects, including the Millennium Village Competition entry at Greenwich, the 550 dwelling Blackbird Leys Phase II, Oxfordshire, The Gallions Reach Urban Village at Thamesmead
Prior to joining PRP, he worked in Milton Keynes for the Development Corporation. Early experiences include industrial and commercial schemes for BDP in Preston and Warrington and Runcorn New Town.
Robert is currently heading teams engaged on masterplanning for a range of public and private sector clients. Recent projects have included schemes in Northampton, Bury St Edmunds, Milton Keynes, Purfleet and a new sustainable extension to Aylesbury at Berryfields of 3,000 units. He has special interest in developing innovative affordable units and recently won a commendation in the Daily Mail 2005 Housing Awards for innovation at Medbourne. He is also a key member of PRP’s Private Housing and Masterplanning Group.
Robert was trained at Sheffield University.
