Greg Slater

Surrey

Associate Director

Greg is responsible for PRP’s renovation portfolio, including the regeneration and refurbishment of existing building stock, not least prompted by growing recognition of the part that renovation has to play in carbon emissions reduction. He sits on the steering group of the Existing Homes Alliance, has written a number of articles on sustainable upgrade for construction journals and speaks regularly at industry conferences.

He has been responsible for mixed use, residential, commercial, retail and industrial schemes ranging in construction value to in excess of £25 million. Renovation schemes have included the restoration of a London landmark Art Deco factory for headquarters office use, the redevelopment of a dilapidated 1950’s shopping mall within the medieval heart of Stratford on Avon and the conversion of a former telephone exchange in central Croydon for residential use.

Having previously established and run the London office of an AJ Top 100 practice, where he was a board director, Greg has since been involved with a series of significant renovation projects for PRP. These include the major renovation and thermal upgrade of the iconic modernist Balfron Tower designed by Ernö Goldfinger and the residential conversion of a series of former asylum buildings at West Park Hospital, Epsom.
