Ian’s career in private practice spans almost 30 years leading complex housing schemes with many major housebuilders/developers, both new-build and conversion, from inception to completion.
He joined PRP in 1996 and has focussed predominantly on design of high density housing and mixed use developments for both the private and public sector.
Notable successes are the redevelopment of Hither Green Hospital site, Lewisham identified as an exemplar mixed use development by CABE and the redevelopment of St. Paul’s Hospital Site, Winchester combining sensitive refurbishment of an existing workhouse with construction of contemporary new housing.
Most recently he has assumed responsibility for the affordable housing sector for the Surrey office working with RSL’s on major estate regeneration projects.
As a member of the Surrey management team he is responsible for delivering the highest quality service to clients using the utmost standards of design and project management.
Ian was appointed an Associate Director in 2008. He trained at the University of North London and Greenwich University.
