Mike has 20 years’ experience as a chartered architect and has designed schemes in London and Manchester for elderly people, individual houses for private clients and conversion work on a wide range of building types.
Mike joined PRP in 1985 has been involved in delivering an extensive range of building projects including greenfield, brownfield, riverside and inner city locations; differing forms of procurement and construction; and large and small scale developments across the country. He also has experience in securing planning approval through Public Enquiry processes.
Specialist housing for healthcare and the elderly has been developed as one of his skills. A key project driven by him was the Pembridge Unit, a hospice attached to St Charles Hospital in West London. He has also managed specialist housing projects such as Moorside in Winchester, a residential home for elderly people with dementia.
Mike specialises in Masterplanning and providing detailed design of residential and mixed-use schemes of all sizes, for both private clients and Housing Associations.
As Associate Director, Mike is responsible for the management of resources in the Ferry Group but balances this and other management functions with a direct involvement on an extensive range of projects from masterplanning and sustainability to estate regeneration
Trained at the University of Manchester and Canterbury College of Art, Mike was appointed Associate Director in 2005.
