Prior to joining PRP in 1984, Rick was involved in an accelerated housing programme at the London Borough of Hillingdon where he worked on a number of housing schemes and created the Department’s system of standard dwelling plans and associated details.

Rick has contributed to a wide variety of projects including schemes for housing associations, various private developers and authorities of general needs housing, nurses’ accommodation, swimming pool and leisure facilities. Rick has also acted as Employer’s Agent for a housing association on a residential new build of 40 flats in south west London.

Today, Rick is responsible for ensuring that the existing high technical standards of the practice are maintained. Rick has been instrumental in establishing PRP’s Quality Assurance standard in accordance with ISO 9001and oversees the protocols he put in place to deliver effective plans of work, CAD procedures, technical manuals, information audits and specifications writing. Rick also contributes to the development of PRP’s strategy for Knowledge Management.

Trained at the Polytechnic of North London, Rick became Technical Director in October 2002 and was appointed a Board Director in May 2004.
