Ziba’s expertise lies in education and regeneration, where she started her career developing the Information Technology Building at Queen Mary and Westfield College London University, winning her numerous awards including a RIBA regional award. More recently she was in charge of the design of Albany Secondary School in Hornchurch Essex and the Grange Primary School funded as part of the West Ham and Plaistow NDS.

Since joining PRP in 1995, Ziba has become one of the practice’s leading experts in regeneration. Her role as project architect for the Chingford Community Centre secured a commendation for a RIBA regional award in 1998.

Design excellence is central to Ziba’s philosophy. Her project leadership was instrumental in PRP’s winning design for Plymouth Grove in Manchester, the first housing PFI to reach financial close. This led to the opening of PRP’s North West office in Manchester in October 2002.

Other project highlights include the newly completed Phase One at St Matthew’s Estate, Brixton, comprising the refurbishment of a tower block , eightnew houses and an innovative zero heating block of 12 flats for key-workers. Amongst her current projects are a major residential scheme for the redevelopment of the new Middlesex University campus site in Tottenham ,a mixed-use scheme in Edgware and the development of the design for a micro flat for a major housing association which is aimed at young graduates and key workers.

Trained at Cambridge University, Ziba was promoted to Associate Director in October 2003.
