PRP are well versed in many forms of construction, both on-site (ranging from Traditional brick and block construction to Concrete Frame), and off-site. We have developed a library of standard CAD details for loadbearing masonry construction, which absorbs over 40 years of experience and feedback, and are continually updated to suit new Regulations/Standards and advancing technology in materials and build processes. Sitting along side this library, we now have a set of Timber Frame details and Light Guage Steel details which have been created along with a partnering contractor and their supply chain. We have recently expanded this central resource to include detailing produced on projects of all construction methods which have performed well, with regards to appearance, buildability, cost, durability and maintenance. We are now developing standard details for a set of generic Bathroom Pod designs.
PRP operate staff exchange programmes with contractors to facilitate site visits for our technical staff which enables them to better understand the pressures and problems of site operations. It is usually the most simplest details which creates the most pleasing finished product and is buildable and good value.
