In recent years the opportunity to work abroad has begun to present itself in areas where our core abilities are most required. The design of good homes and sustainable environments is a requirement that crosses borders and nationalities. We are currently working in Russia, The Ukraine, India and Spain on masterplanning, housing and mixed use projects.

In 2002 we were invited to undertake a study for the London Housing Federation on high-density housing in Europe. This was part of a three-pronged study looking at how successful or otherwise housing at high density could be for families living in the city.

Work abroad is not a new departure for the practice. In the 1970's we designed two areas of La Grande Motte the South of France.
